Windmill marked on first edition 1 inch Ordnance Survey 1836 (S1) and first edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey 1880 (S2).
 noted this was the only mill in Norfolk shown on Morden's map of 1695 (S3).
This is shown as a postmill on Ogilby's Road Map of 1675 (S4).
Last used in 1879.
