Name:Medieval finds and 20th century landscaping of castle mound, Castle Meadow


Archaeological observations were carried out here as part of the process to re-erect a memorial horse trough. Various medieval deposits such as tiles and bricks were recovered from the castle mound and evidence for landscaping and management of the mound during the 1920s was also recorded.
