Full description

Spring 1999. Field Observation in garden.
Found while burying horse, in hole around 10 feet (3m) square.
One jar rim Thetford-type.
Four body sherds medieval unglazed,
Two basal sherds medieval glazed grimston (one with internal glaze).
One body sherd last medieval transition ware.
ONe rim of small vessel (?cup/mug) GRE.

Vegetable patch (near home).
Ten medieval unglazed.
One very straight narrow (15mm diameter) rod handle.
Two thick coarse late medieval grimston or local 16th century lead glazed.
One last medieval transitional ware sherd.
Property mentioned on an extent of around 1450 in Norfolk Records Office.

1 bs probably Thetford-type.
1 jar rim and 5 bs medieval unglazed.
1 Cambridgeshire-type glazed bs.
1 bs glazed grimstone.
1 base LMT.
1 base medieval unglazed with very large (up to 2mm) white chalk/limestone inclusions.

Found whilst gardening.
Medieval unglazed: 2 jar, 1 bowl and 10 body sherds.
2 bs glazed grimston.
Medieval galzed; 1 flat basal sherd.

1 Thetford-type jar rim.
1 med shelly jar rim.
4 med unglazed, including one with white inclusions.
5 glazed Grimston, including one fresh basal sherd found during building works.
