February/ March 1999. Metal detecting.
Amidst very large amounts of late post medieval metalwork and coins.
One medieval coin, see list in file.
Identified by H.M.Geake (NCM).
Very worn 16th to 18th century lead cloth seal, stamped on both sides but now hard to decipher. Rivet possibly has a crowned AR, but the seal does resemble an alnage seal of Queen Anne (compare with Egan numbers 145 to 153).
Part of outer edge of 17th century copper alloy buckle frame (compare with History Beneath Our Feet number 923).
A. Rogerson (NLA), 4 December 1999.
November to December 2000. Metal detecting.
One medieval coin.
Two medieval metal finds.
A. Rogerson (NLA), 10 January 2001.
