Full description

Lower stone of saddle quern found 1946 in deep ploughing for sugar beet. In field on west side of Mill Drove, Blackborough End.
Small bolster stone found apart from quern. Of hard quartz sandstone with numerous mica flecks, small vein of quartz running across it.
