Summary

Sporadic metal-detecting between 1997 and 2018 recovered Late Saxon to medieval pottery sherds; medieval and post-medieval coins as well as Middle Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Middle/Late Saxon ansate brooch, a Late Saxon/medieval strap-end; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval part of a candlestick, thimble and a horse harness pendant, decorated with three fleurs de lis on a blue background; medieval/post-medieval thimbles, mount, coin weight and a copper alloy vessel rim; and a post-medieval strap fitting and thimble.
