Full description

August 1997. Metal detecting finds.
Medieval coin.
Complete but worn, lead ampulla, with both 'handles' surviving. On one side ridge to resemble a shell, the other has a border of diagonal lines aorund a flask filled with diagonal lines. 12th to 14th century date.
