Full description

1995.
Ditched enclosures to east of Lower Farm indicate remnants of croft like closes probably associated with the farmstead. The area nearest farm has been gardens in recent years, although now pasture. To east of hedge the enclosures extend east to the edge of the natural river terrace where a well defined scarp overlooks the flood plain.
B. Cushion (NLA), November 1995.
