Metal detecting here in 1995 recovered a selection of medieval metal objects. Noteworthy pieces comprised a two-sided discoidal lead matrix and a gilded human head, possibly from a Limoges enamel-type shrine or casket.

Two-sided discoidal 12th/13th century lead matrix. S'ALICIE--MENE S'IOHIS---
Lovely gilded medieval human head, worn features. Possibly 13th century from Limoges enamel-type shrine or casket.
