Full description
1993. Metal detector finds. Westnorthwest of St Mary's Church. [1]
Roman rear hook brooch, dated to around 40 to 65 AD.
Crossbow brooch knob, possibly 300 to 350 AD.
Identified by D. Mackreth March 1993.
Medieval cast bronze rim of vessel.
Medieval harness pendant, eight lobes (central one at top with pierced suspension lobes).
Medieval gilded bronze moulded loop (broken) perhaps pendant from belt? Transverse ogee mouldings at regular intervals.
