Name:13th century seal lead seal matrix

Summary

Metal detecting in 1993 recovered a very interesting 13th century lead point oval seal matrix, with a projecting lug on the reverse. There is a central octafoil flower, although the fact that there is no inscription in the band between the grooves suggests that the matrix was unfinished.
