Summary
Fieldwalking in 1993 recovered prehistoric flints and Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds, while metal-detecting between 2010 and 2015 recovered medieval and post-medieval coins; a medieval jetton and Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Late Saxon brooch; a medieval buckle, harness mount and knife end-cap; medieval/post-medieval vessel fragments and a weight and post-medieval book mounts, a buckle, crotal bell, purse bar and lead weight.
