A World War Two decoy airfield with two bunkers exists to the west of the road here. It closed when a Battle Training Area was established and by the year 2000 the army were considering filling in the bunkers for safety reasons.

Full description

World War Two decoy airfield type Q (lights only) with bunker to west of road (latter intact in 1990). Closed when Battle Training Area established.

Parent field was Feltwell.
