Full description

Rectangular depression approximately 40m by 38m, 1m plus deep, straddling watercourse, with both upstream and downstream barrier banks, the downstream one taking a culvert. Probable fish pond. Building platform to south overlooks the pond, having a ditch as west boundary, which is cut by a modern causeway. Possible incomplete enclosure to the west. Further possible barrier banks downstream but rather degraded in form.
Medieval bowl rim unglazed sherd found 10m northeast of culvert.
