Name:Bronze Age ring ditch/round barrow

Summary

A range of aerial photographs taken in 1975, 1989 and 1991 identified a cropmarked ring ditch here. A site visit in 1998 confirmed the feature as a flat topped mound with a circular ditch. The proximity of a Bronze Age spearhead find may indicate a Bronze Age date.
