Summary

Metal-detecting between 1992 and 2013 recovered Roman and medieval pottery sherds; Late Iron Age, Roman, Late Saxon and medieval coins and Roman and Middle Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Roman harness fitting; a Middle/Late Saxon pin; a Late Saxon bridle bit; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval key, seal matrix, mount, harness pendant and tiny silver bell thought to come from a costume or a hawk ring and a medieval/post-medieval spindle whorl, weight and copper alloy vessel fragment.

1992. Metal detector find. [1].
Medieval tiny silver bell, with a delicate suspension loop, and a median rib. Possibly from costume or hawk ring.
