1992.
Metal detecting finds from soil dumping site on gravel pit
Roman 1st century dolphin brooch and animal headed terminal from cosmetic mortar.
Identified by J. Davies (NCM)
Medieval metalwork including leather binding stamp, signet finger ring, buckles, knife handle terminal etc.
Post medieval signet ring, buckles, sword belt fitting.
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM)
Coin weight, Dutch, 17th century, hand on reverse (symbol of Antwerp)
Identified by J. Davies (NCM).
The cosmetic mortar fragment is described and illustrated in (S1).
