Summary

Fieldwalking in this area during 1991 recovered finds dating from the Neolithic to the post medieval period. These included a Neolithic polished flint axehead, a Neolithic arrowhead, Late Saxon kiln furniture and pottery along with pieces of medieval and post medieval pottery.

Early 1991. NAU fieldwalking of northern part of area of proposed golf course. Contexts 1 to 24 used.
Late Saxon kiln furniture and sherds.
Medieval tiles and sherds.
Neolithic flint axe etc.
