Name:St Andrew's Church, Westfield

Summary

St Andrew's Church has an early 14th century unbutressed west tower with cusped Y-tracery in the bell-openings. There is also a 15th century porch with some flushwork, and the nave retains the tracery window which would have originally been part of the chancel, which was demolished around 1700. Inside there is an octagonal 14th century font and a simple Jacobean pulpit.

Not yet visited. Tom Martin in 1766 recorded; square tower with battlements removed; ruined chancel with arch walled up; south porch with chequerwork hourglass stand; south porch; pulpit in northeast corner with three box pews along north wall;'chief pew' in southeast corner with three pews along south wall, no other pews!
