Summary

Metal detecting in 1991 recovered two shield-shaped harness studs dating to the fifteenth century. Both had the remains of a leather strap, and a cross decoration, and one retained some red enamel.

January 1991. Metal detector finds. [1]
Two shield shaped harness studs (Fifteenth century) with shanks and circular roves on reverse. Both have remains of leather strap, and a cross decoration. One in red enamel, the other empty. Dexter L (top quarter) has five 'lentoid motifs'.
