Summary

Fieldwalking between 1986 and 2017 recovered Mesolithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age and undatable prehistoric worked flints; Roman, Late Saxon, medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds and undatable lava quern fragments; and a post-medieval token.


Prehistoric flints, including flakes and a Bronze Age scraper, lava quern and pottery dating from the Roman to the post medieval period found during fieldwalking.

About 1986 to 1990. Fieldwalking whole field including sites NHER 21490 and NHER 24564 probably more from southern end by road.
Roman, Late Saxon, medieval, and post medieval sherds.
