Metal detecting here in 1989 recovered an enamelled Roman disc brooch. The brooch had an umbonate centre with a sunburst pattern of triangular cells, with alternating red enamel and blue glass.

March or April 1989. Found with metal detector.
Enamelled Roman disc brooch. Umbonate centre with sunburst pattern of triangular cells, alternating red enamel and blue glass. 2nd century AD.
