Full description

March 1988. Garden of house built about two years ago.
Some topsoil imported. Garden and adjacent land searched with metal detector and nothing else found.
Silver penny of Aethelred II, last small cross type 1009-1027.
Obverse; AETHELREDREX NGL. Reverse; + HP TM N ON:NOTHI, weight 1.6gm.
