Summary

Metal detecting in 1987 recovered an antoninianus coin of the Roman emperor Carausius, badly struck so much of the inscription was missing. A medieval and post medieval coin were also recovered. The exact location of this discovery is unclear.

1987. Found with metal detector. At Maypole Green (hamlet). [1]
Very nice Antoninianus of Carausius badly struck so much of inscription is missing. Reverse depciting Laetitia? standing left headless, surviving inscription reads LI-AV. For comparison see (S1).
Said to have been found with 'two silver coins, one medieval, one post medieval'.
