Metal-detecting between 1986 and 2018 recovered medieval coins and a jetton; aswell as Roman, Middle/Late Saxon and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include Roman brooches; Middle or Late Saxon strap-end; medieval mounts, buckle, strap fitting and spindle whorl; medieval/post-medieval dress hooks; and a post-medieval buckle, key, spoon, and weight.

Full description

August 1986. Metal-detecting. [1].
Copper alloy strap-end 9th century (S1). Middle Saxon/Late Saxon (drawn and photo NCM). A similar strap-end was accessioned by Moyses Hall Museum (Accession No.: 1982.337B.2) (S2).
Silver double patard - Charles the Bold (1467-1477) Duke of Burgundy.
Post medieval copper alloy casket key.
Copper alloy tanged part of shoe buckle, 18th century.

3 medieval coins, a spindle whorl, strap fitting and a mount in the form of an acorn.
Medieval/post-medieval dress hooks and a silver octofoil mount.
