Full description

December 1986. Found with metal detector.
Bronze hingeplate, burnt. Late Saxon? but could be much later.
Photo in NCM.
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM), compiled by W. Milligan (NCM), 13 February 1987.

1992. Metal detector find.
Medieval bronze key, with openwork cross and four open circles in spandrel in lozenge-shaped bow. Hollow stem, and moulded terminal above bow. Moulded collar at top of stem. Probably 14th century.
