Fragments of medieval pottery and wasters found in 1974 suggest that this was the site of a pottery works during the medieval period.

This site was wrongly included under NHER 3588 as it was erroneously stated on (S1) that Greatford and Alisian were adjacent properties. (S2) reveals they are some distance apart.
But KLM sherds come from both sites, not distinguished.
