Full description

Modern (?) building on site of hall, apparently early 16th century, and jettied house. Formerly contained elaborate fireplace. Hall 'taken down 1834'.
Information from illustrations (S1 and S2) and report (S3) in file.
E. Rose (NAU), 15 April 1986.

February 1986. UEA farm survey.
(S4) states that present farm dates from before 1928, the only building of much greater age being the red brick barn.
The farmhouse has been rebuilt twice since the demolition of the old hall, which is said to have stood slightly further west. One piece of carved stone is said to remain set in a wall from the original hall.
