1954. In cemetery west-north-west of St Mary's Church.
Roman pottery found 1.8m (6ft) below the modern surface. (Seen by R. R. Clarke (NCM) June 1955.).

Wisbech Museum has in store Roman pottery 'Found 1953 in West Walton Cemetery'.
Possibly the same find? - certainly the same site.
