Fieldwalking in this area during 1985 recovered a sherd of medieval Grimston Ware along with a sherd of post medieval Frechen/Cologne stoneware. This sherd of stoneware was decorated with small faces.

Grimston green-glazed strap handle.
Frechen/Cologne stoneware sherd with small faces in design.
Finds held by NCM.
