Full description

14th century iron sword and medieval pottery dredged from the Thames (sic) in 1930.
Sword in Cambridge University Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography.
Information from Ordnance Survey card [1].

1949 and [2] 1952.
One must assume, from grid ref in river by Southery Ferry, and reference to Cambridge University Musuem of Archaeology Ethnography as well as Fowler's authorship, that this is a genuine reference and that 'Thames' is a slip for Ouse!
E. Rose (NAU) 25 April 1985
