In 1966 an Early to Middle Bronze Age copper alloy knife-dagger was recovered from ploughed soil in this area. This object was later described as a spearhead, and the exact nature of it is uncertain.

Full description

1966. 500-800 yds (457m - 731m) west of Mill Hill Farm. [1]
Bronze knife-dagger ploughed up, with two side notches and ? Two in hilt. Blade flattened oval. Early Bronze Age-Middle Bronze Age.
