Summary

Aerial photography from 1977 recorded the positive reversed cropmarks of one ring ditch, near the gas pipeline, which may date to the Bronze Age. It is also possible that the windmill described under NHER 8859 stood on this site.

Positive reversed cropmarks.
One ring ditch, adjacent line of gas pipeline.

Site marked out by D. Edwards and J. Wymer in advance of tree planting. Land agent agreed to leave 15m radius (from site marker) clear in planting programme, in order to preserve site.
