1947.
Leicester Lime Works at depth of just over a metre (3 feet 6 inches); site removed by grab -floor of pit now 6m (20 feet) below.
Rim of Middle Bronze Age overhanging rim urn fragments of two other pots; no calcined bones reported but probably burials.
