Full description
House.
Good 18th century long brick and pantiled house. Five bays (widely spaced), two storeys. Facaded yellow-washed. Gable walls red brick, still very much in 17th century style. Fair condition.
Visit and compiled by E. Rose (NAU), 21 January 1981.
August 1984. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description:
Twyford Farmhouse, Twyford.
Farmhouse. 18th century with earlier core. Limewashed brick with black pantile roof. Two storeys and five bays of sash windows with glazing bard. Skewback arches to ground floor openings. Modern central porch with an early 18th century two-light mullion and transom window above with metal casement and leaded glazing. Corbelled-out dentil cornice. Gable-end stacks and one off-centre axial stack.
