Possible moated site existing as an earthwork in 1946 when photograph was taken.

Field is marked as Water Meadow on 1816 map of Lodge Farm Lands in Norfolk Record Office.

(S1) marks this feature just over boundary into Newton.
Marked to look like moat but seems far too small for this.
Note fieldname Tanners Piece to west, where many horn cores found by A. Rogerson (NAU)
