Ranworth Mill, site NHER 23359, has since been discovered as a hollow post mill but is substantially different.

Palmer's has twin winding tails, spring sails and drives a plunger pump.
E. Rose (NAU), 23 February 1987.

A plunger pump works by drawing water up from the dyke and depositing it on a higher level. Given a 10-15mph wind, this mill can pump 125 gallons of water a minute.
