High Mill. A post mill last turned by wind in 1916. Roundhouse remains without roof.
E. Rose (NAU), 23 March 1982.

Grid reference corrected.

August 2004. Norfolk NMP.
This site lies 40m east of cropmarks of a second, presumably earlier, post mill (NHER 38616). It is not clear which of these two mills is depicted on Faden's 1797 map (S1) although it is clearly this later mill which is shown on the 1810 East Ruston Enclosure map (S2). Cropmark enclosures probably associated with this mill are recorded as part of NHER 21773.
