Full description

12 March 1979. Field other side of boundary from 13955 walked by A. Rogerson (NAU) and Mrs. Addington (NARG) (two fields on Ordnance Survey, now one). Scatter of sherds all over with no concentrations.

One Roman? Greyware bodysherd, one medieval rim, one medieval sagging base angle, seven medieval? Sherds, nine post medieval sherds, one flint flake.

Much recent flowerpot etc. Along south boundary with Boyland Hall grounds.

Early 1979 (given April 1979).
Three medieval and three post medieval sherds found by Mrs. Addington (NARG).
Also three sherds late medieval/Transitional.
