1968. Stray Find.
Found at 49 Baldock Drive, Gaywood by [1]:
1 Palaeolithic flint handaxe. This had probably been brought in with gravel that had come from North Wootton. This discovery was reported in (S1). Information from (S2). Subsequently donated to the King's Lynn Museum (KILLM : 1968.46).
This object was examined by J. J. Wymer and is described on (S3) and in (S4) as a very rolled pointed handaxe. It is also noted in (S5) and (S6), although no additional information is given.
