Full description

June 1978. 1m (3ft) deep in 1m (3ft) length of pipe trench, 46cm (18in) wide, for new houses in road to be called Chandler's Court. Found in group in fill of pit or ditch cut into natural sand or gravel.
Around one hundred sherds of coarse ware, fairly fresh, with two slightly blown wasters or seconds of bases. Dating to around 150-250 AD?

Originally recorded in the parish of Eaton, now part of Norwich.
