Summary

Aerial photography from 1976 recorded the cropmarks of a subrectangular enclosure with linear markings running north. Metal detecting on this site recovered one sherd of Roman and one sherd of medieval pottery.

Cropmark of subrectangular enclosure with linear markings running north.
Located by E. Rose (NAU), 17 January 1978

September/October 1998. Metal detector finds.
One body sherd very hard grey, some grits, probably Roman.
One body sherd medieval Glazed Grimston.
Plan (S1) in file.
Identified and compiled by A. Rogerson (NLA), 6 November 1998.
