Summary

A three storey chequered brick farmhouse, probably early 17th century in origin, now restored. The east and west ends of the house have stepped gables, and an early 19th century extension to the rear continues the steps downwards. There are surrounding buildings of 19th century date.

Full description

17 August 1977. Visit.
Three bays, three storey farm house.
Central bay projecting to form a porch, with a stepped gable containing a window. Stepped gables at east and west. String course between floors. Chequered brickwork.
Probably genuine 17th century, restored.
Early 19th century extension to rear has continued steps of gable down. Outbuildings of latter date, one with upper door with cathole.
