A 17th century inn with 18th century additions and a cellar, altered in the 19th century. It has a massive and very good Jacobean staircase, though this was in poor condition when inspected.

Full description

June 1972. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Early 18th century, much modernised. Brick and pantiled. Front, pebbled and plastered. Two storey and attics. Three casement dormers. Eaves cornice. Two sash windows with glazing bars remain at first floor, altered centre window with casement. Rusticated quoins. Dutch gable. Interior: oak open stair well said to be included."
