Full description

Almost opposite house on other side of road.
Probable ring ditch.
Checked by E. Rose (NAU) 20 October 1976.

May 2007. Norfolk NMP.
This ring ditch was not mapped as part of the NMP project as it was felt that the cropmark could relate to a pit or geological feature rather than a sub-surface archaeological site. However it must be mentioned that several other more convincing ring ditches have been identified within similar locations on the valley side to the north and west (NHER 11714, 18902 and 49466) and therefore it remains a possibility that this site does represent another barrow site.
S. Massey (NMP), 30 May 2007.
