Full description

Cropmark of what appears to be the beginning of a road running north-north-east from modern road, but as there is no air photograph for the rest of the field to the east its continuation cannot be checked.
E. Rose (NAU) 19 October 1976.

See (S1).

1990 photography reveals that in fact this feature is part of a pipeline, not a road. However the county number now applies to other cropmarks in the field including a ring ditch.
E. Rose (NLA) 26 February 1992.

15 July 1996. NLA air photography.
Ring ditch still visible, plus linears which appear to be part of field boundaries, probably medieval - post medieval in date.
S. Massey (NLA) 15 October 2001.
