Summary

Pieces of Beaker period, Iron Age, Roman pot were found when the field was ploughed. Fieldwalking recovered more pieces of Iron Age pot, prehistoric flints and worked bones. Other finds include a complete Middle Bronze Age ribbed bracelet, a Bronze Age awl and a post medieval finger ring. There has been some confusion between this site and NHER 5235.

1975. On ploughed surface near edge of black peat.
Sherds: base and wall of coarse Iron Age jar.
Rims of two others (compare Thetford castle).
Small Roman greyware sherd - from face urn?
Small incised Beaker sherd.
