Full description

1975. Found while harvesting potatoes from large clay area in an otherwise peat fen.
A looped socketed axe, medium splay, with two mouldings on the mouth was recovered. Casting seams and flaws visible. The axe has been sharpened. Dated to the Bronze Age.
