Summary

Bunnets Moat was visited in 1997 and measures approximately 60m north to south, 52m east to west, and is 2m deep. All the ditches were dry at the time of the visit, and the site was masked by thick scrub and mature trees, and surrounded by a trimmed hedge.

Full description

Bunnets Moat, marked on Ordnance Survey map (S1).

6 February 1980. Site visited E. Rose.
Rectangular wet moat with causeway at south end west side. Island overgrown by trees.

Measures approximately 60m north to south; 52m east to west; 2m deep; maximum 3m wide. All ditches dry. Site masked by thick scrub and mature trees, and surrounded by trimmed hedge.
