Summary

A mid 19th century three storey tarred brick drainage windmill with half oval windows, part of a group of buildings that kept Reedham Marshes drained. It replaced an earlier mill shown on Faden's map of 1797, slightly to the west. The mill was compulsorily purchased by Norfolk County Council in the 1980s, the rounded boat-shaped cap has been reinstated and the mill is now managed by the Norfolk Windmills Trust.
